Better Urban Spaces On Way Through New Funding Round

Eight communities across Australia will benefit from new urban precincts following a funding announcement by the Australian Government.

Victoria, Tasmania, ACT and New South Wales will share in $35 million for the precincts, ranging from the Acton Waterfront Neighbourhood Precinct Urban Renewal Project in the ACT to the Sandridge Recreation Precinct Masterplan Project in Victoria.

The funding brings the total projects set to be delivered through the $150 million urban Precincts and Partnerships Program (uPPP) to 25.

The new precincts, once delivered, will help grow regional economies and improve local amenity for residents.

The uPPP program supports both precinct development proposals and the delivery of construction-ready precinct projects.
