They also spoke about the ongoing work in the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) negotiations and the importance of attaining positive outcomes in time for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders Meeting in November. President Biden looks forward to seeing President Thuong again when he hosts APEC in San Francisco later this year.
