A Biggera Waters woman has revealed she's thrilled to no longer have to hide her furry companion from her rental property manager, using her $1.4 million Saturday Gold Lotto windfall to build a dream home for herself and her beloved cat.
The Gold Coast resident held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4595, drawn Saturday 2 August 2025. She looks forward to $1,428,581.63.
We have also advised Gold Coast residents to check their tickets, as there is less than one week remaining to claim a $670,000 Saturday Gold Lotto ticket won back in August 2018.

"Oh my god. I'm shaking!" she laughed.
"Oh my goodness. Thank you very much!

"I'm so excited. I've always wished of winning division one!
"I'm on a disability pension and I live in a rental. I'm always having to hide my cat during an inspection and I'm sick of it!
"I will be able to buy a house and no longer worry about inspections or the rent continuing to go up.
"This win is for my cat!
"I won't be able to sleep tonight. I'm too excited."

"Our customers will be pleased for the winner. There will plenty of conversations around what they would do if they won. Maybe it's their turn next.
"The last time we sold a division one winning entry was in October 2023. We're very pleased to have sold our second division one winning entry in under two years.
"Well done. Hopefully our winner takes that special holiday they've been putting off or payoff the mortgage. Just relax and enjoy the moment."
