The Bjorn Again show scheduled to perform at the Swan Hill Town Hall PACC this weekend, has been postponed.
A spokesperson from Bjorn Again stated that as a result of the current Victoria COVID-19 lockdown, Bjorn Again would be postponing Mamma Mia Here we go again! to the new show date on Friday, 5 November 2021!
"We know you've been trying on those silk flares and limbering up to get dancing in those platform shoes for Bjorn Again's upcoming performance at Swan Hill but unfortunately, you'll have to wait just a little longer for this ABBA‑solutely sensational night out," the spokesperson said.
Swan Hill Town Hall Performing Arts and Marketing Officer, Sharon Brinkman said it was a difficult time for the entertainment industry.
"I think we will all be ready to sing, dance and have the time of our life when the current COVID- 19 restrictions have eased.
Ms Brinkman said that all tickets purchased would be honoured for the rescheduled date.
A Bjorn Again spokesperson appealed to the community to keep their existing tickets and come along on the new show date.
"Please hold onto your tickets, it's a way of supporting not only our band but the wider entertainment industry.
"Postponements affect our crew, management, venue staff, travel partners and many more," the spokesperson said.
The Bjorn Again crew thanks the Swan Hill community for their ongoing support.
Ms Brinkman said that staff from the Swan Hill Town Hall Bookings office would be in contact with all ticket holders in the next few days, but please be patient and the team will be in contact with you as soon as possible with the current lockdown
