MidCoast Council
Work on Black Head Road Pathway will continue into the New Year.
Stage one and two of MidCoast Council's Black Head Pathway Project are complete with the final stage three expected to begin in early 2026.
During construction, traffic control will be in place, and the road may be reduced to a single lane with alternate traffic flow. Minor delays should be expected during this time.
Driveway access points for residents will be affected for short periods to enable construction of the path across the driveways.
The project is State Government funded and will see a path constructed along Black Head Road between The Boulevard and Diamond Beach Road to improve pedestrian access and safety and works towards the connection of the Tallwood's community particularly as the area continues to be developed.
The entire project is expected to be complete in June, weather depending.
