The City of Ballarat's Engaged Communities team has been liaising with the Friends of the Black Hill Reserve over this project.
The City of Ballarat has supported tree planting at the reserve through provision of materials, trees and resources.
Black Hill Master Plan actions taken to date include:
- Track and trail improvements
- New steps to the look out
- Weed control
- Pest tree removal (ie self-seeded pine trees)
- Environmental clean-up works
