Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding two boat fires during the early hours of this morning (June 10).
Preliminary inquiries suggest just after midnight, one of the boats moored at a marina on Spinnaker Drive caught fire.
A dog owned by the skipper alerted them to the blaze and they started fending the flames themselves.
The second boat caught alight and both vessels were destroyed.
A crime scene has been declared.
Anyone with vision or further information about how the fire may have started is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
