Boat, trailer & firearm seized, man charged, following search warrant in Dubbo

A man will face court today after police executed a search warrant in Dubbo, NSW Police say.

On Tuesday 27 September 2016, detectives attached to Orana Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Cumboogle Road, Dubbo where they located and seized an allegedly stolen Bowrider boat, boat trailer, and a .410 shot gun.

Shortly before midday yesterday officers attended a home at Galloway Drive, Dubbo where they arrested a 45-year-old man.

He was taken to Dubbo Police Station where he was charged with goods suspected stolen on premises, goods suspected stolen on premises (vessel), possess unauthorised firearm, possess a barrel for a firearm unless authorised by licence, and not keep firearm safely.

He was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court today, today.
