A survey that will help shape the Shoalhaven Boating Infrastructure Optimisation Plan and Management Strategy will be extended by a week, providing more time for feedback about the region's public boat launching facilities and mooring structures.
In the three weeks since opening, over 800 surveys have been completed about more than 60 Council-managed boat ramps, jetties, wharves and pontoons.
"We understand that our city's boating infrastructure is an important issue and want to reassure everyone that we're listening," Mayor Patricia White said."
"This is an opportunity for people to have their say about their current experience, anticipated need and expectations of these community assets, so we can develop evidence-based plans for the future," Cr White said.
Council will use the feedback from the survey to review how waterway facilities are used, their condition and their capacity.
The survey will close at midnight Sunday 26 July and can be accessed via the Get Involved Shoalhaven website.
