Police are preparing a report for the Coroner following the death of a man at Mitchell Park.
Just before 1am today (Tuesday 12 March) police and emergency services were called to a bicycle path next to Karu Crescent after reports that a man's body had been found on the track.
The 58-year-old Darlington man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crime scene investigators and detectives attended, and it is believed the man's death is not suspicious.
