Body located in search for missing man - North Rocks

A body – believed to be that of a man reported missing from North Rocks – has been located.

The 44-year-old man was last seen about 9pm yesterday (Tuesday 13 February 2024) in North Rocks.

When he could not be located, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Following extensive inquiries, the body of a man was located in bushland at North Rocks about 2.30pm today (Wednesday 14 February 2024).

While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the 44-year-old man.

No suspicious circumstances have been identified at this time.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
