Detectives from the Missing Persons Squad, with the assistance of local police, have located the body of a person at a property in Ryan Avenue, Wangaratta today, Victoria Police say.
The unidentified person was located about 4.20pm today.
The exact cause of death is yet to be determined and police will await the results of a post-mortem.
A 59-year-old man and 42-year-old man, both from Wangaratta, are currently in custody and assisting police with their enquiries.
The discovery of the body comes as police search for missing Wangaratta man, Nathan Day.
The 34-year-old was last seen about 1pm on 26 July.
