Body of man found in ocean - Kurnell

A report will be prepared for the Coroner after a man's body was found in Sydney's south today.

Just after 3pm (Friday 21 February), emergency services were called to Cape Solander, Kurnell, following reports of a body floating in the ocean.

A short time later, a Lifesaver helicopter winched a man's body from the water.

He is yet to be formally identified.

Police from Sutherland Shire Police Area Police Command are conducting investigations.
