A body, believed to be that of a man reported missing from Beacon Hill, has been located.
The 52-year-old was last seen about 7am on Tuesday (23 May 2023).
When he could not be located or contacted, the man was reported missing to officers from the Northern Beaches Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him.
Following inquiries, the body of a man was located during a search near North Head about 10am today (Thursday 25 May 2023).
While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing man.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
