Book in for our free retirement village forum in Chatswood

NSW Retirement Village Ambassador Kathryn Greiner AO will be in Chatswood on 3 September 2019 for a free forum to help residents understand what the changes to Retirement Villages Act mean for them.

Seniors thinking about moving into a retirement village can also attend the forum which will include an information session especially for them. It will cover the essentials of retirement village living to help prospective residents make the right decision.

The Ambassador program is part of the NSW Government's continued education and better protection of the rights of current and prospective residents and has travelled around all around NSW since it was launched in December 2018.

The new laws are being introduced following Ms Greiner's recommendations made from the 2017 NSW Inquiry into retirement villages, and aim to improve key aspects of living in a village such as resident safety, and clarity around fees and costs.

Visit the events page to register. Light refreshments will be provided. Book early to avoid disappointment.
