Federal and provincial investments to support automation, tourism, decarbonization, and community development initiatives

The Governments of Canada and New Brunswick are investing to help communities and organizations in northern New Brunswick become more efficient, productive and competitive, driving sustainable, economic growth and setting the stage for long-term prosperity.

Today, René Arseneault, Member of Parliament for Madawaska - Restigouche, announced a Government of Canada total investment of $2,615,417 for five organizations and one community in northern New Brunswick. The announcement was made on behalf of the Honourable Gudie Hutchings, Minister of Rural Economic Development and Minister responsible for ACOA.

MP Arseneault was joined by the Honourable Gilles LePage, Minister responsible for the Province of New Brunswick's Regional Development Corporation who announced provincial contributions totalling $$88,792 for two of the projects.

This funding will help Roy Hydraulique Ltée, FIREADY INC., Virtuoze VR Inc., Restigouche Timber Trails Inc., and EcoRock Dalhousie, as well as the Regional Community of Campbellton, modernize, increase productivity, attract visitors, and reduce environmental impacts.
