Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Borisi Mawasinghe.
A warrant has been issued for the 40-year-old's arrest in relation to a theft.
Mawasinghe is known to frequent Oakleigh and surrounding areas.
Police have released an image of Mawasinghe in the hope someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
