Bottles thrown at police in Whalan

Police are appealing for information following an affray overnight in Western Sydney, NSW Police say.

About 2am today, police attached to Mount Druitt Local Area Command were called to Bulolo Drive in Whalan following reports of a large group of people damaging property.

As police arrived at the address, their car was pelted with rocks and bottles by a group of people. Further police were called to the location which caused the crowd to disperse.

Police arrested four males (aged 20, 17, 16 and 15), who were later released pending further inquiries.

Police are urging anyone with further information to contact Mt Druitt Local Area Command or Crime Stoppers.
