Break And Enter Appeal, East Greenmount/Clifton Area

Police have released an image as part of an ongoing investigation into a break and enter offence in East Greenmount on Friday, 31 October.

Initial information indicates sometime between 8.30pm on 31 October and 2.15am on 1 November, three males travelling in a gold 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander (pictured) arrived at a Moller Street address, stealing a white 2012 Toyota Landcruiser from a shed before leaving the scene.

A short time later both vehicles were observed travelling in the Clifton area.

Around 3am the stolen Toyota Landcruiser was located on Gillam Street in Clifton, after being involved in a traffic crash with a brown 2021 Toyota Landcruiser.

The male driver of the accompanying Mitsubishi Outlander then left the scene leaving the male driver and passenger of the 2012 Landrcruiser at the scene.

No one was injured in the crash.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or were approached by anyone needing transport or a phone in the Clifton area on 1 November between the hours of 3am to 4am to contact police.
