Police investigations are continuing into a break and enter, arson and willful damage at a Sumner Park gym/shop yesterday morning, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations suggest the Bullockhead Street premises was broken into between 4.30 and 5.30 am, February 20. Intruders have damaged property and attempted to light fires inside the business.
A 35-year-old woman is believed to have alerted police upon arrival at work at around 5.30am when she discovered fires had been started, gym equipment and clothing had been cut and significantly damaged.
Investigations are continuing and anyone with information that may assist the investigation is urged to contact police.
