Police are investigating after a stolen utility was driven into the front glass doors of a convenience store at Burleigh Waters in the early hours of this morning.
Around 3am the utility was driven nose first into the Christine Avenue business with two men exited the vehicle and entering the store.
The men attempted to break into the cigarette cabinet but were unsuccessful leaving the premises empty handed and driving off in the utility.
Police later located the stolen vehicle in Nundah Avenue at Miami.
The vehicle had been stolen from a residence at Robina on May 27, 2021.
Investigations are ongoing.
