Rockhampton Detectives have charged two men with 22 offences following investigations into a number of property crime incidents in Rockhampton.
It will be alleged on May 8 and May 23, vehicles at a Gladstone Road business and Elphinstone Street business were allegedly entered and unsuccessful attempts were made to steal the vehicles.
At approximately 3.20am on May 11, entry was gained to a Mclaughlin Street business and two white Toyota Landcruisers were allegedly stolen.
Between 4.40am and 4.50am on May 11 and 4.50am on May 12, a Bridge Street restaurant and two businesses on High Street were allegedly broken into, with no property reported stolen.
On May 13, a white Landcruiser Hilux was allegedly stolen from a licensed premises on Musgrave Street and later located at a Lakes Creek Road licensed premises.
On May 27, entry was gained to a shipping container at a Denham Street business where a large number of furniture worth thousands of dollars were allegedly stolen.
On May 31, police executed search warrants at two residences on Water Street and Cassia Street in relation to a number of break and enter offences locating a number of stolen items, as well as quantities of methylamphetamine, cannabis and drug utensils.
A 28-year-old Berserker man has been charged with three counts each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, attempted unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and enter premises with intent, two counts each of enter premises and commit, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils and one count of receiving tainted property.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on July 7.
A 39-year-old Norman Gardens man has been charged with two counts each of enter premises and commit, receiving tainted property, and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He is due to appear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on June 17.
