Break and enter offences at Gold Coast

Police are investigating after two chemists were broken into on the Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning.

Around 3.55am a stolen white Range Rover attended the West Burleigh Road chemist. Two people exited the vehicle and attempted to use a trolley to smash the front glass doors. No entry was gained and the offenders left in the vehicle.

Around 4.15am a similar vehicle containing two men attended a chemist at Leo Graham Way at Oxenford. The men exited the vehicle and used a hammer to smash a front glass door to gain entry. They have entered the dispensary area of the chemist but it is unclear if anything was stolen at this time.

The men got back into the white Range Rover and left the scene.

Anyone who was in the area or may have dashcam or vision of the vehicle or the incident to assist the investigation is urged to contact police.
