Break-in and assault at Gawler Belt, SA

Police are investigating a break-in and assault at Gawler Belt this morning, according to SA Police.

Gawler patrols were called to Clancy Road just after 7am (27 January) after a man reported being assaulted by two men armed with a firearm, who had forced their way into his home.

The man sustained head and leg injuries and was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment. The injuries are not considered life threatening.

Barossa CIB are investigating the incident and don’t believe it was a random attack.
