A 15-year-old boy has been charged following an alleged break and enter and vehicle theft at Redbank Plains early this morning, 1 October.
Around 4.30am, it is alleged the boy entered a home on Huntley Crescent and threatened a woman, known to him, with a knife before leaving the scene.
The 44-year-old Redbank Plains woman was not physically injured.
Around 4.50am, it is alleged the boy approached a woman who was seated in a parked vehicle on Piddington Street before grabbing her wrist and threatening her.
He then left the scene in the woman's vehicle, a white Hyundai Kona.
The 57-year-old Redbank Plains woman was not physically injured during the incident.
Following investigations police located the boy at a Redbank Plains address around 9.40am where he was arrested before officers located the stolen Hyundai on Owens Lane a short time later.
The 15-year-old has been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, trespass, wilful damage, common assault, stealing and possess dangerous drugs.
He is due to appear in Ipswich Childrens Court tomorrow, 2 October.
