Break-in at Taigum liquor store

Police are investigating after a stolen vehicle was used to smash through the glass front doors of a liquor outlet at Taigum this morning.

Around 2.25am a Toyota Yaris, stolen from a Forest Lake address yesterday, was driven into the Roghan Road store and a large quantity of alcohol stolen and a cash register stolen by two people.

The offenders left the Yaris behind and fled the scene in a stolen 2021 black Mitsubishi Pajero with Queensland registration 014-MIK. This vehicle, which remains outstanding, was stolen from a separate Forest Lake address. This vehicle was driven by a third offender.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or any one with relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
