BreastScreen NSW mobile van to visit Huskisson

A BreastScreen NSW mobile van is visiting Huskisson this month and BreastScreen NSW is reminding women aged 50 to 74 to book a free life-saving mammogram.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Australian women affecting 1 in 7, during their lifetime. A mammogram (or breast screen) is the best way for women aged 50 to 74 to find breast cancer early - it can pick up breast cancers before they can be seen or felt. The earlier breast cancer is found, the higher the chance of survival.

A screen with BreastScreen NSW takes only 20 minutes, a GP referral is not required, and all radiographers are female.

The mobile van will be at Husky Sports (336 Huskisson Road, Huskisson) from Tuesday 6 April – Friday 30 April 2021.

Book your free breast screen today by visiting book.breastscreen.nsw.gov.au or call 13 20 50. If you require interpreter assistance, please call 13 14 50 during business hours.
