Breathing New Life Into Local Sports Facilities

Labor is backing better facilities for grassroots sporting clubs.

Minister Spence today visited Lionheart Reserve in Taylors Lakes to announce applications are open for the next round of the Local Sports Infrastructure Fund (LSIF).

All Victorian councils and Alpine Resorts Victoria are eligible to apply in partnership with sport and recreation clubs, sport associations and leagues.

Funding up to $500,000 is on offer for projects that boost participation.

It's all about getting more Victorians into sports, so they can have fun, get fit and spend quality time with family and friends.
