Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Brian Cockerall.
A warrant has been issued after the 23-year-old arrest in relation to assault related offences.
Cockerall could possibly be in the Bairnsdale area.
Investigators have released an image of Cockerall in the hope someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
