The extensive work planned for Wingham's Isabella and Primrose streets intersection has been delayed briefly.
The work was initially expected to begin in early March however that date has been pushed back until 31 March, weather permitting.
The roundabout will be closed for the majority of the works. U-turn bays will be installed at both ends for vehicle access. Some parking close to the site will be temporarily closed. There may be some interruptions for pedestrians when the footpaths are being constructed. Driveway access will remain open to the businesses in the immediate vicinity.
The project will include relocating water pipes, upgrading drainage and rebuilding the road, kerbs and footpath which will both improve the roads strength and reduce ongoing maintenance issues.
