BRLSC testing works

Construction of the Black Rock Lifesaving Club moves a step closer with early testing works to take place on Thursday 25 March (weather permitting). The testing will involve non-destructive hand drilling to test soil and locate underground services.

The testing generates very little noise or dust and poses no risk or danger to the public. The area will be cordoned off on the testing day for the safety of workers and the public. Soil testing is a normal step in construction processes that informs design development with detailed design work underway in preparation for construction. The construction timeline will be confirmed once the relevant permits have been obtained.
