A prison escapee has been captured by police at Broken Hill overnight, NSW Police say.
Three men escaped from the correctional facility at Broken Hill about 10am yesterday (Thursday 5 April 2018).
Two men, aged 20 and 32, were found by officers from Corrective Services NSW shortly after and were taken to Broken Hill Police Station where they were charged and returned to custody.
A search for the third man, aged 24, continued and at 10.50pm he was arrested by police in Argent Street, Broken Hill.
He has been taken to Broken Hill Police Station where he’s been charged with escape lawful custody.
He was refused bail to appear in Broken Hill Local Court later today (Friday 6 April 2018).
