Sadly, a woman has died after a two-vehicle crash on the Brooker Highway at Queens Domain at 8.55 p.m. on 9th October 2023.
Police and emergency services were called to the crash and located a green Mazda Hatch in which a deceased female was located.
Early investigations suggest the vehicle was travelling south up the northbound lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle near the Clover leaf intersection.
The driver of the vehicle travelling south was declared deceased at the scene.
The female driver of the other vehicle, a Silver VW Hatch and her daughter who was a passenger, were taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a serious, but stable condition.
Our thoughts are with the woman's family and loved ones at this difficult time.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
