Burglary and deprivation of liberty in North Maclean, QLD

Police are investigating a burglary and deprivation of liberty incident whereby a man was tied to a chair in North Maclean overnight, Queensland Police say.

Between 10pm last night and 5.30am today, three males and two females gained entry to an Aldwyn Drive residence where they tied the 54-year-old male occupant to a chair and assaulted him.

The group left the scene with two stolen vehicles including a grey BMW 540i sedan with Queensland registration 908XBZ and a black 2010 Porsche Cayenne with Queensland registration 265XQV.

The 54-year-old man did no sustain serious injuries.

Investigation are continuing.
