Manningham Crime Investigation Unit is investigating a burglary and theft of mail in Doncaster on Tuesday 16 May, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a man and woman were captured on CCTV at 12.30am entering an apartment foyer in Tram Road, Doncaster.
The offenders gained entry by following a resident who was exiting the building.
Once inside the offenders forced open multiple letterboxes, stealing the contents from within.
The man is perceived to be Caucasian, medium length blonde hair, average build and wearing a light grey speckled hooded jumper and dark jeans.
The woman is perceived to be Caucasian with dark shoulder length hair, thin build and average height. We was wearing light blue skinny jeans, a black hooded jumper with ‘artistic rendering’ on the back, a dark beanie and black high heeled boots.
Police have released images of two people they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
