Burglary at commercial premises Prahran

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary at a commercial premise in Prahran in January.

It's believed a male entered the Chapel Street business on 29 January sometime between 9.30am-11am.

The male entered the staff area and stole multiple items including wallets, cash and credit cards.

One of the stolen credit cards was then used on the same day to purchase cigarettes, gift cards and shoes in the Windsor, Prahran and South Yarra areas.

The male is described as approximately 30-years-old and was wearing a black sun hat, light brown long- sleeved top, light green shorts, white runners and was carrying a black umbrella and Aldi shopping bag.

Investigators have released images of a male they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
