Burglary at Rockhampton

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a business this morning at Koongal and have released footage as they appeal for information.

Around 4am police were called to a Lakes Creek Road after reports a vehicle had struck the rear door of a supermarket.

Upon arrival police observed the glass rear door smashed and a cigarette display damaged during an attempt to remove it from the business premises without success.

Investigations reveal a man wearing long pants, long sleeve hooded jumper and gloves has forced entry to the store.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or may have any information in relation to this matter to contact them.
