Burglary at Seymour self storage unit

Mitchell Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary at a self-storage unit in Seymour last month.

Police believe two men, aged between 20 and 30 years, jumped the security entrance gate at the Wimble Street self-storage unit around 4am on 25 July.

One of the men used large metal bolt cutters to get the pad lock off a unit before entering a unit. No items were stolen.

The same man has again used the metal bolt cutters to get the pad lock of a second unit and then enter before leaving with a chain saw.

Both men then jump the front fence to exit the property.

Police have released images of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

One of the men is described as having a thin build. He was wearing dark-coloured clothing with a hooded top.

The second man was wearing a light-grey hooded top with a large black logo on the back and oversized jeans and black and white sneakers.
