Burglary, Gold Coast District

Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify a man believed to have been involved in stealing cash from poker machines at licensed venues on the Gold Coast, Queensland Police say.

The same man is believed to have targeted an RSL in Currumbin at 4am and a Tavern in Ashmore just after 5am on August 29.

The man (pictured) is described as approximately 172cm tall, of a medium build and is known to wear a black hoodie or high-vis work shirt.

Investigators are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam footage who were travelling on Duringan Street, Currumbin between 4.00am and 4.20am or Cotlew Street or Currumburra Road in Ashmore between 5am and 5.30am on August 29.

Investigations are continuing.
