Burglary with violence in Glenvale, QLD

Police are investigating a burglary with violence that occurred in the Darling Downs District last night., Queensland Police say

Around 9pm, three males attended a residence in Glenvale and have forced entry through the front door of the house.

Once inside, they have assaulted a 62-year-old male occupant and took a small sum of property before fleeing the residence.

The 62-year-old man was transported to the Toowoomba Base Hospital for treatment of minor facial injuries.

Detectives from the Toowoomba Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the matter, and are seeking public assistance.

Police wish to speak with anyone who may have seen three males and a vehicle parked in Panorama Drive in Glenvale around 9pm last night. Police believe the males may have parked the vehicle and walked on foot before returning a short time later.
