Burning Permits on hold after 31 October

Council will stop issuing burning permits after 31 October 2019 until the Fire Danger Season is confirmed.

The Fire Danger Season is determined by the Country Fire Service (CFS) and indicates when the highest danger of fire spreading throughout the district is likely. In 2018 the Mount Lofty Ranges began its Fire Danger Season on 17 November.

Until this information is confirmed by the CFS and can be used to guide safe decisions, burning permits for Adelaide Hills Council residents will be on hold.
