ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: A fire has started on the northern side of the Barkly Highway, west of Ranken Road. Landholders will be undertaken defensive backburning in this area this afternoon/evening. This will cause smoke and active fire which may impact the Barkly Highway. Please drive with care.
