Business break Wingfield, South Australia

Police are investigating a break in at Wingfield overnight where a ute and tools were stolen.

Just before 3.30am Sunday 21 April police were called to Hanson Road after a motorist reported that there was a gate lying on the road blocking north bound lanes.

When police arrived they found that a nearby business premises was missing a gate and they went inside to investigate. Inside officers found that a white 2012 Ford Ranger, SA registration S581ASR, and several tool boxes containing a large amount of tools had been stolen before the thieves allegedly left by driving out through the closed gate.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone who noticed any suspicious behavior in the area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
