Business damaged by fire, NSW

Police are investigating after a fire extensively damaged a business in the Port Stephens area this morning, NSW Police say.

About 5.30am today, emergency services attended a business on Nelson Bay Road, Bobs Farm, after a duress alarm was activated.

On arrival, police located the business well alight.

Fire & Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze a short time later.

No one was injured and it is not yet known what caused the fire.

Officers attached to Port Stephens Local Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
