The business papers for next week's Kiama Municipal Council May Ordinary Meeting were unable to be published as usual on Wednesday afternoon due to a system error.
Council apologises for the inconvenience this has caused.
After several hours were spent trying to rectify the error, the business papers for next Tuesday's meeting were published on Council's website on Wednesday night. The enclosed section of the papers may have to be run tomorrow (Thursday, 14 May) and will be lengthy due the volume of information tabled at the last Council meeting.
System provider InfoCouncil has assured Council the system is due for upgrade next month. However, Council CEO Jane Stroud will be seeking a meeting with the CEO of InfoCouncil to discuss the issue so that it can be avoided in future.
