The Gunnedah Shire Council is encouraging local businesses to apply for funding through its Business Partner Program Round Two 2023/24.
The popular program aims to support projects that stimulate economic activity in the Gunnedah Shire with all applications considered on individual merits and priority given to those demonstrating they can help generate employment and grow population in the region.
Councillor Colleen Fuller urged local businesses to be proactive about securing themselves a slice of the funding available.
"This is wonderful opportunity for locals to potentially expand their business or bring to life an idea that requires financial support. It is well worth going through the simple process of applying, especially during these tough economic times," she said.
