Campaspe Shire Council is inviting local businesses to have their say through the 2026 Business Sentiment Survey, providing valuable insights that will help shape future business support and economic development initiatives across the shire.
The survey will gather feedback on business confidence, opportunities, challenges, workforce, and the types of support businesses would like Council to prioritise in the future.
Council's Economic Development team is encouraging businesses to participate to help shape future priorities.
Conditions have changed since Council's Economic Development and Tourism Strategy was adopted in 2024 and Council wants to hear from businesses to ensure that the priorities remain the same and to affirm the areas where Council can provide the most value in supporting them.
Campaspe Shire Mayor Cr Daniel Mackrell said business feedback will help to ensure Council's efforts align with the real needs of the local business community.
"Our local businesses play a critical role in creating jobs, driving investment and building vibrant communities across Campaspe Shire," Cr Mackrell said.
"This survey is an opportunity for business owners and operators to tell us what's working, what's challenging them, and where they would like to see Council focus its efforts in the years ahead.
"The feedback we receive will help guide future business support programs, training programs, workforce initiatives and advocacy priorities, ensuring we are investing our resources where they can make the greatest difference."
The survey takes just 10 minutes to complete and all responses will remain confidential, with results reported in summary form only.
As a thank you for participating, businesses that complete the survey will go into the draw to win a $250 Shop Local gift card for the Campaspe Shire town of their choice.
