Police are requesting witnesses following an assault that occurred in the early hours of Sunday 2 December 2018. The assault took place near the Mobius nightclub between 3 am and 5 am and has left the male victim with a fractured jaw, Tasmania Police say.
"We are seeking witnesses who may be able to assist the investigation. With the Christmas period upon us it’s important that people understand that anti-social behaviour and violence will not be tolerated," Constable Ryan Keep said.
Anyone who may have seen the assault or helped the man are encouraged to call Hobart Criminal Investigation Branch on 131444 or can report information anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
