Call for Witnesses - Assault - Darwin

Northern Territory Police are appealing for information about an alleged assault in Darwin’s city centre last week.

A 42-year-old man was walking along Daly Street between Cavenagh Street and Harriet Place at around 12:30am on Sunday, 11 March, Northern Territory Police say

Two men walked up behind the victim before punching him in the face several times and leaving the scene.

The victim required medical treatment for serious facial injuries.

The alleged offenders are described as Caucasian in appearance. One is described as having a solid muscular build.

Investigators are asking for anyone who witnessed the attack or who has information about the incident to contact police on 131 444 or to call Crime Stoppers anonymously.
