Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to alleged arson in Fannie Bay.
A report of a structure fire at a residential address was received around 9:15pm yesterday. Members of the public entered the property and extinguished the fire, Northern Territory Police say.
Police attended and a crime scene was established. A 44-year-old male has been arrested in relation to the incident.
Police would like to thank the members of the public who assisted in extinguishing the fire.
The Serious Crime Squad are investigating.
